ALFRED SATISH JONES writes from Washington D.C.: Here's a link to a Washington Post story about expat (high-tech) Indians getting organized to fight the problem of the long waits involved in the US Green Card process:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/04/25/AR2006042501963_pf.html
I sent this story to a Chinese colleague of mine (who is waiting for his Green Card) and he was so impressed he emailed it to a bunch of his friends.
And they emailed it to their friends and within a half-hour a bunch of Chinese guys had signed up to be part of this organisation which till then was an Indian-dominated affair!
Now this is an example of how to organize using the 'Net, eh? We almost never hear about Indians "organizing" to achieve a goal. Why?
The internet is a most powerful tool. We should all use it for every good purpose.

Shirley
Why should the Title of above blog be
“What Indians can learn from the Chinese”
Its the Expat Indians who have shown the way to use Internet as powerful tool
Isn’t this an example of Indians organizing?
