If reservations for OBCs are so bad, why aren't doctors protesting against quotas for students who pay through their (rich parents') noses and buy payment seats?

Yes, KP does have a point which is worth pondering. It is debatable indeed! Why shouldn’t we think on this line?
How much percent of students would have paid their way to these colleges?
15%? maximum may be 25%
The college owners(again, your own favourite politicians and their kin) say they have to have these premium seats to maintain the college and do these students have a say in their matters?
No.
Government instead of starting more medical schools, especially in most backward area, is so inert and corrupt that it is letting these private medical colleges thrive by killing the existing medical colleges, which were reputed and reliable, just a decade back.
What happened to the Govt. Dental College in Bangalore? why was it shut?
Every dumb politician belonging every dirty party has a stake in these educational institutions. Isn’t that the reason for killing the wonderful system like CET?
I have observed that lots of students are writing SAT and taking scholarship tests of National University of Singapore and like, if they ultimately end up in the USA, they will as well go there now itself, without burdening the taxpayers of India and letting the oppressed have the crappy education system to themselves.
