Putting pictures or video on churumuri is something we have resisted unashamedly because we believe (foolishly perhaps) in the sanctity of the written word. But there are occasions when we must unapologetically bow to the diktats of great technology. So, here is YouTube, the web site that allows individuals to broadcast video.
Our debut video is of “Bus Uncle”, the Hong Konger who curses, rages, rants, taunts, threatens and upbraids a young man for making the cardinal mistake of asking hm to keep his voice down while speaking on the mobile phone. The video is mighty revealing of what cell phones are doing inside our skulls: erasing what little civility is left in us and removing the distinction between private and public. Njaai.
great one. The mobile menace is of course disturbing. but in this video the problem looks like some drug abuse
