Churumuri cordially invites you to visit its brother-blog ‘Sans Serif‘—India’s first newsroom blog that catalogues the news, the views, and the juice of the media.
Sans Serif has been up and about for a private audience for over a month and a half. By now throwing it open, we hope to carry media issues beyond newsrooms into the browsers of news consumers, i.e. you, yes, you.
Drop by and drop anchor. It’s your Media Churumuri.
Some more intro please. How did this become eligible brother-blog? Or is it just the moderator’s interest. Or is it to keep the churumuri readers busy while sometimes same old stale things appear, (sometimes)
Atleast the two blogs relieves of the monotony of reading the same thing again and again in newspapers columns and provides food for thought to those who need it. It maynot interest others who do not feel the need to go in for thought that provokes thinking.
Better late than never. So goes a saying and I wish to share news and views on events and issues if only I am not unwelcome.
Well, despite your ‘Suswagatam’ I have been a typical Mysorean (after all inborn traits never die) to ask whether I am welcome! It is something like the norms of social formalities observed by the Mysoreans and Tamilians.
For instance, when guys like me and a Ramdu Rangachar of Adyar are invited for lunch and the hosts asks whether we prefer curd or butter milk, the guest in me responds: Moaru idiya…? Or for that matter Ramdu Rangachar of Adyar clarifying: Ayyao, mor irkada, koncho podoun…
So alongside thanking you, may I ask you what is the route to tap you and the “open sesame” to your Sans Serif. Believe me, at times I may sound vulgar in my thoughts but I rest you and the readers that I am decent when it concerns vulgarity.
All said and done, if given a bit of a slot, I promise that I won’t be the camel and make you the Arabs.
