Iran’s firebrand President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has embraced and liplocked Venezuela’s president Hugo Chavez; he has got fresh with a supporter; and (horror, horror) he has hugged and kissed a Jewish Rbbi. None of that bothered his country’s Islamists. But when he met his primary school teacher after 40 years, and shook and kissed the 70-year-old’s hand on Tuesday, all hell has broken loose.
“Yeh point note kiya jaaye, your honour.”

to me it shows that even the most rabidly fundamentalists, arrogant enough to question holocaust & ignorant enough to peddle the coming of the messiah, is common folkish & non-idealogue enough to be human enough in wanting to kiss his old teacher & open enough to marry an engineer.

Misleading post. It is common in arab countries for a man to kiss another man on the lips/face as a greeting, but not a woman even an elderly woman on any part of her body. It is probably true he is trying to makeup with disgruntled teachers.
