‘TARLE‘ SUBBA forwards a YouTube video in which, he says, Santa Sishunala Sharif meets Pink Floyd. The lady in the video is Veena; the director is Jaikumar Amar Singh. “It’s pretty nicely done, and grows on you over time.”

This is sung by Raghupathi Dixit, a Mysorean.

Nice video and a great song by Shishunala Shariff. Veena looks stunning–my type, heh heh. She looks like what I call “a thinking man’s chick!”
Interesting singing style by Dixit–I will watch out for hime.
Agnani Armugam!
It’s all in the song–that is why Veena has that expression on her face. How can I put this? Tamils who are so much used to histrionics and hysterical overacting in all their movies cannot appreciate genuine acting.
I did not like the video..could have been better with a better lookin model
even a saree wearing would have been fine but movements with more grace.
I like the rendering and wish more people bring out such innovative style of our Bhaavageethe/Janapadha geethe .
Great song!!! Any links/listings to simillar songs? Like dheerendragopal says very innovative at least in kannada.
That is what Karnataka/Kannada/Kannadigas need, like everybodyelse, innovation, to move forward. I read on this blog that Kannada is a near perfect language(like Sanskrit maybe?), you can write what you say and say what you write. Maybe that is a good thing reachig near the state of perfection. Such nobleness can make it inert like the noble gases unable to react with others or conversely like the noble metals resists corrision.
um….it wasnt worth the attention it will now recieve on this blog.
What’s all this hogwash about Kannada being a perfect language like Sanskrit? What’s a perfect language anyway? A language is only a toolbox to express yourself. Most toolboxes have evolved to posess a goodly set of tools.
And to the noble and (perhaps aptly named) Doddi Buddi I say Don’t be a kupa manduka. The world has bigger and better things to offer than a Kannda-Tamil rivalry at every turn. Grow up. BTW, I don’t think you need “genuine acting” to feature in a music video.
AC..you are a KOOPA LIZARD..always living at the expense of others
It was great, though the woman had no expression on face.

To achieve that kind of user experience you need to be watching a different kind of film!
