They understand that Gandhi sells. At least they understand that.
It is amazing that an Italian company, Telecom Italia has hit upon the novel idea of making use of Gandhiji who communicated to millions sixty years ago with great success, to reach more and more people. The tone and tenor of the video is really a tribute to Gandhiji, father of our nation. Hats off, the video ad is highly sensitive and sensible. They have imbibed dignity and decorum to the most sensitive topic.
Oh! I wish for an ad from our own BSNL and host of other service provider that could have moistened the eyes of millions of Indians.
Such an ad could have provided relief from watching the daily dose of ads featuring film stars, seminude models and cricket players who swing their tongue with great élan in the shot rather than swing the bat to send the ball beyond boundary
Of course, we should also be thankful to our ad agencies that they have not denigrated his image by misusing his name to endorse most frivolous and silly items just to make money.
Thank God and Gandhi. The Congress which has forgotten him, a country which has forgotten his ideas and ideals totally should at least see this ad.
Gandhi mean 3rd class in India. With such mindset why will any Telecom operator waste money on such ads. If anything is needed then we have upgrade the image of Gandhi in this country.
Great tribute to Gandhi, the father of the nation, on the eve of India’s 60th Independence.
Gandhi is (Sonia Maino) Gandhi in Italy:)-
