E.R. RAMACHANDRAN forwards us a picture of the Gaganachukki and Bharachukki Falls in full flight, and writes: “Breathtaking they surely are, but it’s another matter that you will break every bone reaching the falls, thanks to the mud tracks and poor efforts of PWD Minister H.D. Revanna and H.S. Mahadeva Prasad, who was to inaugurate the ‘Jalapatha‘. Tourists will get ‘sannipatha‘ reaching the site.”
Why cannot we identify the most important Tourist Destination Roads in the State and ask NICE or the alleged swiss challengers to make and maintain these Roads instead of Bangalore and Mysore Road ?

It is really very hard to reach down to have a close view of the Gagana Chukki and Bhara chukki falls specially for woman, children and aged. There is every possibility of `Jala pathothsava` turning in to ` Jana pathothsava` in future in the absence of adequate measures for the safety of the visitors in traversing the slippery road.
