Remember reading somewhere- cant remember where- that Vinayaka meant He that was born without the Nayaka- remember he was born to Parvati alone without the contribution of the male partner Siva ( execpt to cut of his head and transplant an elephant’s). I found it interesting and very unlike the synthetic /plastic mythology we hear today.
