With IT here, there, everywhere, it was just a matter of time before smart cookies started purveying products with those two magic letters of the alphabet slapped on the box. Webcot, a Kerala manufacturer, is trying to fill the breach with “energising socks”.
Churumuri has done it again…..
KP, Think a bit differently. bashing IT has become a practice for you. Audience are getting bored. Murthy angadi entertained people but may be you should put more variety into churumuri…
Here I was hoping that this was a great idea for New Friends’ Parlour to introduce an “IT Cut” or for Shanti Sagar to introduce an ‘IT Thali”, but Girish starts wailing. What’s the problem? Are you hurt that they have only introduced IT socks, not other garments like maybe “IT underwear”—“yeh software ka mamla hain? Are you hurt that some Mallu company is making it? Are you hurt that there is a hint of “vibration” in the brandname?
Or are you hurt because you have lost your sense of humour to take a pun in a headline? Relax, it’s IT socks, not IT stocks.
in the late nineties or early 2000’s one company went ahead with its IPO. Cant remember the name though. Though they were into manufacturing shoes, they rhymed their company name so that it would sound like Software. “Blah Blah… Softwear Ltd”
Can any one recall the name of that company ?
Atmasakshi,
After reading your silly reply, had a laugh which makes me to think that I have not lost my sense of humour!!!
People flock to Churumuri (including me!) to read something which the marwadis, underworld folks and liquor barons cannot print.
People love to read Churumuri (including me!) because the writers here are not having hidden agenda like the ones from street journalists.
My intent was to say that, approach of bullying IT in Churumuri is becoming monotonous and KP should do something about it.
neway, if you still feel I was wailing thro my comments, you should stop reading between lines.
8-12mm HG? As in Mercury?! Wont that kill the poor ‘techies’?
The girl’s pose reminds me on an ad for lungis from Kerala modelled by none other than Silk Smitha in her younger days.
something tells me …esp coming from a Mallu co., that this is not socks that they are selling , might be something else
It’s no more the IT professionals alone, but all of us including every one of you who spend a whole day who will need varioius aids to keep us in good health. We need chairs that don’t give us back problems, keyboards that don’t give us RSI and spectacles to keep our eyes intact. What the Keralite company doesn’t seem to have realized is that its target market is a lot bigger than IT professionals.
