SUDHEENDRA MURALIDHARA writes from Bangalore: Sometimes animals can imitate humans or at least learn very quickly from their two-legged pals. Sometimes they even pick up the gestures that we use regularly to convey our frustration or anger. Sometimes they even demonstrate their new vocabulary.
A friend of mine, Mukesh Tanwani, on an excursion to Nandi Hills not only had the mortification of having his mango bar being grabbed by a monkey, but of also getting a royal one-finger salute in the process. Of course, Mukesh didn’t realise that the monkey was acknowledging receipt until we started viewing the pictures.
Possibly, the monkey was injured but no offence was meant and, hopefully, none was taken.
Enough monkey business!
Please give us a break. Refrain from talking about the Hindu.
Which parties do both of them belong to? My take is:
If this incident were to have ever happened between Jan’06 & Oct’07, I would say that the monkey would belong to JD(S) and Mukesh belonging to BJP with reference to Karnataka.
