Scores of actors have done double roles and triple roles and quadruple roles, even ten roles at one time. However, most of those have largely been prosthetic ventures, the protagonist dressed up in a different costume for a different role. But has anyone carried off two roles on the same frame at the same time in the same shot as adeptly as Aamir Khan does in the latest Tata Sky TV commercial?
Surely more convincing than Shah Rukh Khan exhorting us to “wish karo, dish karo“?

Why does Churumuri have such moronic posts! Its a bit like opening the New England Journal of Medicine and having to read the latest romp of Paris Hilton ( BTW her parody of McCain was very good).

When I first saw the ad, I didn’t recognise Aamir Khan at all! The make-up, costumes and the graphics are very well done. And Aamir, as usual, is too good in the ad. Cannot expect such ads from Shah Rukh Khan- his fans will be contented just with his presence. Same cannot be said with the other Khan. So, the difference is all there to see. Couldn’t agree more, Tata Sky ad is better than Dish wish.

Wow,
A beautiful ad. But beware tata sky is the worst according to all the service providers!!

Aamir is bestest Indian actor after Bacchan. Far better than Shahrukh. True, its a very fine ad.

What a silly ad and this finds mention in a blog. Waste of space. Also, ads are edited so timing is not important here.

Sandesh, dont compare Sudeep skills with Aamir or Vikram. Let Sudeep reach that talent, churmuri will definately post.-:)

while the Tata SKY ad is good in this category he’s clearly outdone SRK … but talking about mobile phones : I hate Aamir in the Samsung ads … and Hrithik ( Sony – Ericsson ), Abhishek ( Motorola ) are far better … maybe its the concept which makes the difference.
By the way Aamir in the early Coca-Cola ads ( remember the various avatars ) was truly a benchmark !!!

Two things.
1. I never compared Sudeep to the “great actors” Aamir and Vikram. Heck, I don’t even like Suddep.
2. Having said (1), I find churumuri riddled with so many posts about hindi, telugu and tamilu actors. Surely they can find something worthy to write about Kannada movies also, right?
Can’t help but say this. Seriously, do you think Sudeep is not talented enough to be on par with Aamir or Vikram? I think he is as good as them (or even better than the gimmicky aamir, I’d say….)

I think the ad is annoying. Aamir does a good job as an actor but the ad sucks.
Compared to dish karo wish karo Ad, a great catch line and equally good salesmanship by SRK. He is earnest when he sells the Dish to you. I would have bought it if I did not have lousy Tata Sky.
