“The price of someone’s haircut is the price of someone else’s school fees.”
SUDHEENDRA MURALI forwards a video, made by the Centre for Communication and Development Studies, Poona, that offers proof of the biblical saying, to each his own.

Enjoyed viewing. What a contrast between the wishes of haves and have nots!
It just showcases a fact that we all know.
But the ad does not offer any solutions.
It’s always easy to comment withot giving solutions.
But its a good effort at making us more conscious with this above average idea.
First, it is the desire of everyone to meet the basic needs then only they can think of other things. Whether it is a matter of 50 or 500, the answers would have been the same.
Stop cribbing about the “haves” spending their own money! What do you expect? That he grows long hair because someone else is unable to pay the fee?
This means that India must develop itself as a nation and try to eradicate poverty. Handouts are not a solution, although Indians are the most callous people I have ever seen regarding their tolerance of poverty.
I agree with Larissa. We “use” the Karma concept very conveniently here.
The other thing that struck me in this video is the manner the “have-nots” responded. Grown-up and matured. Thoughtful, and full of common sense. Natural.
The “haves” answers may have been “selected” to suite the agenda…but they put anybody to shame. Embarrassing.
