His art is a culmination of gifts he was born with, and also inhuman efforts he put to hone the skill. I still remember 1970s, while going for a morning Jogging to Kadri Hills at 5am in the morning, you could hear K.G. practicing saxophone in his room in Mallikatte (close to Kadri).
He’d practice hours and hours. And even today he performs in Kadri Temple festival every year without fail.
Dedication of ones life to a craft! Amazing soul.
