At the divisional commissioner’s office in Belgaum, the dharna by Mallikarjuna Batagi and his family members has just entered its 901st day. Their demand: justice for the alleged atrocities by caste Hindus at Saravada village in Bijapur Dist in 2007.

Shouldn’t “caste Hindus” be casteist Hindus?
Shouldn’t they be burnt alive in concentration camps??

Protesting for something that happened in Bijapur, in Belgaum?

Found this:

Oh k, found this too: http://www.thehindu.com/2008/01/28/stories/2008012854580600.htm
So the gentleman could gather resources to fight elections and not to move court! Interesting.

Another typical churumuri post… let the brahmin bashing begin. On here everyone automatically equates upper caste hindus to brahmins anyway.
@churumuri
This one is takes the cake BTW. No background on the story, not even one side of the story presented, let alone presenting both sides of the story for fair judgement. Best part, i typed the keywords “atrocities caste hindus saravada village bijapur 2007” in google and guess what… Churumuri was the only link with all these keywords and that was this article. Sometimes I wonder, what exactly is it that churumuri tries to do on its blog? Whatever it is that it does, it sure as hell does not qualify as journalism!

The sheer determination to seek justice is simply amazing. This is all too known in the countryside and should have been taken as “way of life” of Hinduism, but they choose to “seek justice” how foolish.
Some one patel or harkol, were saying you should look at the high funda, philosophy etc of Hinduism, not the cruel, repressive subjection of masses under the yoke of Hinduism. That indulgence is available only to afull stomach fat bada brahmin, who eats on the sweat of skinny masses, who tolerate the humiliation and abuse in return for the promised moksha.
Some rebel, some tolorate…. the choice is there. My forefathers chose not to tolerate any more.

Hats off to churumuri for bringing to light what the mainstream media consistently ignores.
Mainstream media would rather do a story on how Deepika Padukone is coping up with the so called break up with her beau.
Or Tiger Woods philandering nature.

If your religion doesn’t give you bread, shelter and education.. And by changing it if you get it all, whats wrong in changing religion? Don’t talk about conversion, act so that your neighbor, your servant, the poor in the street get the basic needs. Make sure that the need of existence is misused by missionaries or NGOs or whatever on Earth.
