The moon shines splendidly on its magnificent domes; the fountain sprouts water to the delight of tens of visitors walking langorously at the Taj Mahal, or at least the replica of it at the Nilgiri’s 35th annual cake exhibition that starts on Friday at the St. Joseph’s Indian high school grounds in Bangalore on Thursday.

every year nilagiris display spectacular cake show during chirstmas. Each year they display important/special items and on the finaly day it is cut in to pieces and sold. The time, energy and team sprit shown is some thing great. They are professional people with great track record of making good food over the years. But, they have miserably failed in reatail outlets. This shows, every body cannot enter every filed.

bEtALa,
This is a known trait of closet Jihadi, they are blind to facts…for example that Sindh was a part of undivided India, which is the birth place of Advani. But for closet Jihadi’s hatred of the hindus/joos overshadows any rational thinking.

Kavithamma,
I fail to understand this joos and Hindu connection here, specially when you fail to find connection between hate novelist like oak, who inspires people like Ad-vani to unleash “spontaneous” genocides.
Is this hindoo/joos new kind of bhai bhai, that I fail to comprehend. When did this paradigm shift happened??

Some interesting observations about the architecture of Taj mehal (or as Khan likes to call it, “Tejomahaliya!!”) being based on Harappan measurement units can be found in a recent paper by Prof. Balasubramaniam of IIT Kanpur (who passed away sadly) in Current Science. Those who have access to the journal please read the paper…it is very interesting.

I think this paradigm shift happened with the clash of civilizations!

Sandesh,
The paper is here: http://www.ias.ac.in/currsci/feb252009/547.pdf
As you pointed out it shows the constancy of certain measurement units from the Harappan civilization to the time of the Mughals. The paper correlates measurements used in the Mughal period to units used before on the sub-continent. And the paper postulates that measurements for the Taj Mahal were most probably made in units which had hardly changed over time in the sub-continent. Note that it is a paper on metrology and not architecture per se.
The architecture of the Taj Mahal was built by Mughals based on Mughal architecture of the period which was probably based on a thousand things which came before.

When is that started?? who is the leader of this hindoo/joos pack, am so much to cathup for.
Prof. Balasubramaniam was a metallurgist and it was his hobby/interest in the war equipment of the past, that he will be remebered.Wish India has academics like him, who use their knowledge for practical purpose.

Yes. I was in a hurry while writing the comment. But, you’ve captured the essence of the paper.

Khan,
Let me guess, when did Ad-vani “unleash spontaneous genocide” based on Oak’s writings. Are you smoking something strong while writing this comment ;)
If you mean the Gujarat riots, Ad-vani did not have anything to do with it and it was the followers of the religion of peace, who peacefully burnt 52 women and children, that started the riots.
Joos/Hindus share the same kind of problems geographically, we are surrounded by hostile countries inhabited by the followers of religion of peace, who indulge in their peaceful acts of killing, looting and destroying on a regular basis. So dont you think they would form natural allies?
I won’t bother you with heavy stuff of Clash of Civilization like DB did. We will go one baby step a time.

Kavithamma,
You sipped little too much of the cheddi literature, lets see if I can help. No am not calling you cheddi yet, obviously the loose cheddi is not designed with fair sex in mind.
RTeg ad-vani, I was referring to the spontaneous genocides that happened where ever his hate filled yatra went. Maybe you remember it only as riots…ah sweet innocence.
Gujrat riots????……..helooo which fairy land you are kavitha, come out of your pinky land, Gujrat was nothing but the state sponsored genocide of Muslims, Period. Your train burning incident absolute reference is little economic with truth, as the case is still subjudice. If they were guilty as you charged, the case would have wound up long ago. But more than 100 innocent have been held without charge for the last so many years.
Joos/Hindus same same ??? you are one clueless damsel. I may understand turkru doing all sorts of things to poor hindus ala bhyrappa, but joos??? I don’t recall historically ever a incident recorded, even though I fancy myself as history student. Even during world war 2 when Christians were slaughtering joos left and right, it was Muslims who gave shelter to the joos, be it albanian, turks, bulgars, heck even arabs. It is another matter that these joos, in turn started killing looting and plundering the very same Muslims, when christian europe wanted to get rid of joos problem from europe.
So hindoos and joos natural allies,, how? Maybe you are referring to the shared Aryans and joos migration, settlement, racist segregation, superiority complex, pig headedness…. maybe I am wrong, please do elaborate.
Clash of civilization…..maybe you should leave that to dadda, your exhibition of knowledge till now is not inspiring.
