VIDHI LIKITHA forwards a lawyer’s prayer advertised on the back of a car with a “Press” sticker in Bangalore. “May the case be adjourned, may the case go on for months, but let the fees come to my pocket every month,” it reads.
True as it is, is this message something any lawyer would want to tell the world, or has it been photoshopped onto the rear windshield?
This is the reason why pending cases touches new high every year. But what wondering is, the ‘press’ sticker pasted. KIntentions are clear. Take advantage of the press sticker when in trouble. How a advocate can deceive this way?

Hi,
Just wanted to correct that the above is a chuTuka or a short poem in Kannada by Mr Ramnath who is a budding humorist and poet. This poem is actually written behind his car.

Even if the message on the rear of the car was photoshopped, it reveals what exactly a lawyer feels deep in his heart. If a lawyer says he doesnt agree with that message, I swear [in the name of God & the Constitution] that he is not a lawyer but a lier.
[With due apologies to all the liers!!!]

Oh yeah, that is the credo of every lawyer. Disbelieve any lawyer who says anything to the contrary.

This is what many lawyers are practicing. They are not bothered whether the justice is brought to clients, but they are worried about their fee. First they give all assurances that the case will be won within a month. But, the way in which the cases are dragged on, the poor victim lose interest in the outcome of the case. But, by that time, he would have lost substantial amount of his hard earned money

The judicial system is also responsible for such a plight. Am not talking about the judges, please.

this is not a photoshopped image. i had a close view. with some experience in photoshopping, im almost sure its a original photo.
and about the delay in justice, it is true that the advocates are not interested to end the case. thats very much true. But let me also introduce you all to another face also.
Problem with most of the cases why they are prolonged because:
a. one of the party will know that there is no merit in putting the case. but the case is instituted just to trouble the other party.
b. one of the advocate knows that there are no merits in the case.
c. both advocates / parties will know about the fate of the case. yet they fight just for the sake of their EGO in case of parties. it is fees in case of advocates.
If the parties agree for a Conciliation or some out of court settlement, almost 60% of the cases will be out of court. But will the PARTIES and ADVOCATES both make up their mind?
It is totally wrong to blame the advocates alone. Yes advocates are in one way the reason. And along with them the clients are also responsible.

Did anyone notice that the car is a simple Maruti 800. It can not be a lawyer, must be a victim of one :)
