I can’t remember even one instance when the so called trained forest officials have successfully rescued a stranded wild animal.
It’s sad to see these hapless animals die due to negligence.

First they should have tranqulised the animal and cut the net, but they tried it without that and the animal died struggling. What a pity!

this is indeed sad. :( Lack of training on the depts side. But, some things are academic. Like tranquillising, suggested by dharma. But since the poor creature was in trauma already, maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to tranquillise it? Even the wild boar hunting should be outlawed, if it hasnt been done yet. These are traps mainly for the boars if im not mistaken..

Leopard would have died due to panic with people around and the stranglehod. These are chances which the Forest Dpt should not let go waste.
Forest Dpt officials definitely need training and better equipment. But the Forest Minister (also the CM) is busy giving mining rights in Forests. He is more busy in selling the State and its treasures as this is his last chance.
