From the past 5 years I have been conducting a survey of vehicles with A/C No hand signal. Of the 876 vehicles included in the study, only one vehicle had the a/c running(I presume so, window glass rolled up), rest were “fully air conditioned” with open windows!

One of the threads holding them will get cut, bindiges will fall on the road, create a huge accident, villagers will burn the vehicle. Is it really worth the risk? Too much risk for what reward?
May be his is in the wrong business.. he sould be working for JPM, Goldman or AIG :)

Impressed with the quality of the road. BBMP should request the same contractor who built this stretch of road to work on all Bangalore roads.

Cost of transportation (apart from the overall cost of ownership) is one of the main reasons why these plastic bindiges have become ubiquitous in India.
