Drama from Congress people. I’m sure DKS arranged thousands of villagers by paying 100/day and KF bottles for this padayatra.
Not sure if this is the same person, but I read that a senior Congress worker died. If so, that is quite sad.
I thought they only collapsed when facing imminent arrest…
@ UDAY SHETTY:
What Drama? your comment is a shame on your own people. stay away from democracy if you dont like it. you dont have the right to criticize.
the poor Congress man later died in the hospital. You call it drama..you &^%$&$$
Reebok, Nike & Rayban should sponsor this padyathra……
Cannot imagine a more idiotic, pathetic, foolhardy venture than this padayatra farce. Many of the enthusiastic participants are really hired hands, or legs, to be exact. If they have health conditions, undetected or untreated, many will drop dead or be disabled by the time they reach Ballari. Look at the cruel joke. They are accompanied by people like D. K. Shivakumar who has a sinfully equipped luxury bus, with a bedroom, no less, in tow. There must be others with access to an equal degree of comfort among the leaders. So much for the party’s concern for the poor.
Is there at least a mobile hospital unit along for the ride?
DB, you forgot to mention Amritanjana or whatever its recent versions are.
My hope is this jaathre will be rained out and thus help save lives.
I cannot bring myself to comment on the self-righteous talk dished out by our well known writers and thinkers who were there to see the fake freedom fighters off.
@Uday Shetty
Group A, who whatever may be the reason always say X happened because of Group B.
Group B, who whatever may be the reason always say X happened because of Group A.
You may belong to either A or B, but in effect you are blind.
I recommend the movie 12 Angry Men
I expect this movie to guide to help you understand:
1) How to form opinions
2) Call spade a spade.

PTL, I know, I know.My comment was about bang for the bucks, product placements and all that great gyan they teach in business schools. Did you get to see CM Inbrahims’s Rayban at 8PM on live TV yesterday?
PS: BTW,I am not trying to plugin 8PM ;)
DailyBread–
8 PM is not the worst whisky in the world. In fact, in India it is better than most “foreign made liquors in India.”
This Ibrahim is a cad, but an awfully funny one. I like his one liners. I am sorry that he has stopped badmouthing his mentor, Devegowda. Bacche Gowda is not nearly as interesting.
Just how many wheelchairs have been ordered by the Congresswallahs to see our warriors for truth through the last leg of their invasion of Ballari? I cannot wait to hear their lame, torpid excuses for not being able to reach the town by foot. An interesting case of foot and mouth disease that our Dr. Ramesu cannot cure.
Why hasn’t Simple invaded this column writing encomiums for the unfit, well-fed, sinfully rich soldiers of Gandhi (I don’t mean Mohandas)?
