Should have a long journey on this metro next time I am in Bangalore. Looks good! Hope the present government continues till the project is finished, other wise there will a stand still.

This much needed service, unfortunately, comes at a time when the country is paralysed by terrorism paranoia, and this is a very fortunate time for the security industry. Wait till you hear that a full fifty per cent of avara Metro’s profits go into providing security for the Metro facilities and commuters. There is no shortage of Indian versions of Blackwater. What will happen to the other fifty is anybody’s guess.

Sir..I share your enthusiasm about Metro in Bengalooru. But then you go on to say
Here I start sweating. Metro could be in serious trouble if Yeddy pangada continues to rule us. Given his record of denotifying juicy parcels of land, I am concerned he would give away land earmarked for Metro to ‘development’ ie development of his own kith and kin.
Lankesh made famous the ‘Gum’ and ‘Bam’ sarkara ( Gundurao and Bangarappa). Had he been alive probably he would have termed this sarkara as ‘Gulum’ sarkara.
