Chief minister B.S. Yediyurappa and energy minister Shobha Karandlaje go their separate ways after the launch of Belaku Yojane—a programme to encourage the use of compact flourescent lamp (CFL) bulbs—at the head office of the Karnataka power transmission corporation (KPTCL), in Bangalore on Monday.

hehe, fantastic picture. kudos to saggere ramaswamy.
Nanondu teera neenondu teera ………………
Truely it says a lot.
Churumuri, get a life.
The photo says Shobha brings happiness to Yeddy!
Yeddi may be having many affairs with women. That is his personal life. Making mockery of it in public forums is not only cheap and shows low quality journalism. In vokkaliga communities, having concubines is perfectly acceptable and is a tradition.
What about CFL disposal?
That was wonderful. Salute to the photographer for the picture and his sense of timing and the thinking!
Really, churumuri, you sound like my mother’s friends some 60 years ago, wondering about our co educational schools.
Oh God forgive Thyampanna Shetru. Bco’z he does not know what he is talking about!
Great picture!!
I am curious and surprised, why doesn’t any photo having Kumaranna & Radhika never appear on Churumuri Website, nor did any photos of Ramakrishna Hegde & Pratibha Prahlad, nor does any photo-up of A Raja & Kanimozhi………. list goes on and on…..
I would really love see Churumuri digress from this subject
It should have been the other way round, junk the dim bulb Yeddyurappa and coronate the bright lady(very bright, when she flashes all the teeth) for the rest of the term. ;-)
twistleton has a question …. has anyone come up with a solution?
as far as i know glass used in CFL is less than quarter of what is used in a tube light.
Gandahendira jagala, etc.
Electrifying pic I say! Is it me alone or any one else also feel Yeddy looks like a CFL in this? As if to lay any small doubts to rest, the arrow connects the bulb with him.
@Deepak:
Good one! I wanted to pen it and you beat me to it:)
Now what is the difference between Manamohnsingh and Yediyurappa. Both were said to be clean when they assumed the post of PM and CM respectively. the former has duped the nation and he has been exposed and getting exposed by the SC of India every day and the later has not been proved guilty so far by any court or agency regarding his misgivings. Both are sticking to their seat, as once they are out , they get free food in the jail. So whom do we believe PM or CM?
Since someone already mentioned Aishwarya Rai, how about Priya Rai ;)
@Bengalooru Haida – I have no doubts that Yeddi looks like a TubeLight with all properties of a CFL ;-)
Karihaida:
That would be really awesome! Yum, yum! :D
But the meaning of your comment will be lost on most viewers of this blog :-(
@Prasad:
What are you trying to say son? That Mr. Yeddy is innocent till proven guilty and no court has convicted him. Wouldn’t the same logic apply to the CVC Thomas too? Is he already convicted and sentenced or just chargesheeted? So he too is innocent till proven guilty no?
What happens if CVC Thomas is acquitted and declared innocent? What kind of redemption Court can and offer him, if any?
If our HC is equally activist and vigilant as SC is, our man Yeddy would have been back in Shikaripura tilling his 1500 acres of land no?
Lastly Mutthappa Rai right now has squeaky clean record as he is acquitted in all cases so far. So to use the inverse logic, how about proposing him as the next CVC?
