Abhishek Singhvi, Jayanti Natarajan, Ram Madhav, Tarun Vijay et al seem to inhabit soem other planet and seem more incoherent, weird and bizarre than arrogant- but that too I suppose.
I must say I like the spokespoersons of the Left front- more coherent and sensible, if less liked by the hoi-polloi.

It’s the arrogance which makes him care two hoots for propriety. In any case, if you are to be available on TV on unearthly hours, you’d want to be casually dressed – but half naked??
Also, sanghvi was going on and on about how democracy was being undermined and Hazare fast would lead to anarchy! That coming from the representative of a party which imposed emergency on India for two years is pretty rich.

Do youth leaders after taking voluntary retirement from their youth leadership are promoted to spokespersonship?
Going by their choices, I believe one day Congress will appoint a Vuvuzela as their spokesperson.

Singhvi’s more famous father L M Singhvi had directorship at Global Indian International School (do a Google for both names together). The US branch Global School of Silicon Valley has hired Narpat Bhandari as CEO and who is Bhandari ? L M Singhvi’s brother in law (another Google search to prove). Search for Anita Singhvi (wife) and find her singing Sufi ghazals with Farooq at same Global Indian International School.
With Dow India and Global Indian International School traced to Singhvi, the awards are not too pretty so far. DB Corp ? HSBC ? Tata… ? all left as an exercise.
Oh these models have a right to look good, a right to reputation, of course.

In a normal world one would expect spokespersons to be very friendly and approachable, with the right touch of humor. And certainly more presentable to the public, whether it is an unearthly hour or not.
