An FDC that confirms the very worst you have heard about Mysore University

It would be an understatement of Chamundi Hill proportions to say that the University of Mysore, once the cradle of the country’s best and brightest, is plumbing the depths of Kukkarahalli Lake, dredging up dirt, muck and garbage.

As a part-time politician and full-time contractor masquerading as vice-chancellor closed the ocean of the mind— Manasagangothri—with ugly gates, fences, arches, walls, statues and clock towers, the University celebrated its centenary last year.

This pathetic First Day Cover marking the 100th anniversary of the University is a fitting epitaph to the academic (and linguistic) credentials of those who are supposed to teach future generations.
