Somebody whose name we, sadly, cannot reveal! But he is somebody big. Very, very big. He is the creator of one of the most recognised media brands. The creator of (probably) the world's most intelligent comic strip. In response to churumuri's May 29 post 'If God exists, why did Tsunami occur?', he, who has a similar post on his blog, says in response: "Your title says it all." May not sound much, but unless you know who we are talking about. Who?
No clues…. honest!

I see no purpose in putting up an item like this, unless you are trying to brag, but still without full details it’s not doing the job. or are you trying to test somebody’s searching(googling?) skills. Intelligence of a comic strip can vary based on perception…

Of course, there’s a bit of bragging here, but so what? The creator of the “world’s most intelligent comic strip” doesn’t write every day. There are three clues there—world, intelligent, comic strip—there. Ninan? Das? Suraiya? C’mon. Think big, think global.

How about Garry Trudeau of Doonesbury?
Incidentally there’s a comic strip in which Mike Doonesbury comments about Journalist Bloggers: “Isn’t blogging basically for angry, self employed losers who are too un-talented or too lazy to get real jobs in journalism?”
Here’s the complete comic strip from SLATE:
PS: Those weren’t my comments. KP keep up the good work.

Sudheer, except I doubt if Laxman has a blog of his own. Also, note KP’s emphasis on “world”, so obviously it is someone from outside India. It has to be Scott Adams:
– he is big, very big.
– creator of one of most recognised media brands (Dilbert)
– creator of most intelligent comic strip
– he has a blog (http://dilbertblog.typepad.com/)
– he is an atheist and has similar posts on his blog questioning the existence of God (http://dilbertblog.typepad.com/the_dilbert_blog/religion/index.html)
The only other intelligent comic strip that I could think of was Calvin and Hobbes, but I couldn’t find any blog by Bill Waterson.
KP, you don’t have to reveal the identity of this correspondent. Just confirm if his name has already been mentioned in the comments so far :-)

it cannot be laxman, coz he doesn’t have a comic strip. and knowing him, he would be the last person to have a blog. and his health condition isn’t too good either.
got to be scott adams.
